Red Carpet Events is a limited liability company owned and managed by Lynann Stensland. Lynann received her Masters degree in Corporate Training and was a trainer and instructional designer for seven years. Despite her success in the training field, she desired an outlet to further her creative talents.
Lynann created Red Carpet Events in 2006 and has planned countless events throughout Virginia. She personally manages all full-service weddings and events. Her unique talent for designing such remarkable events has gained local recognition. Red Carpet Events was voted the 2009 best event planner in the Virginia Gazette's "Best of Williamsburg" competition and is the preferred coordinator for many top venues and vendors in the area. The organizational skills, attention to detail, and design talents of the Red Carpet Events staff are unparalleled in Hampton Roads. Lynann and her team successfully coordinate events from intimate to large-scale, casual to formal, traditional to contemporary.
Katie Singleton manages The Day, a division of Red Carpet Events devoted to servicing day-of wedding coordination clients. Katie has trained directly under Lynann for the last year on events from pool parties to high-end weddings. She quickly adapted to the Red Carpet Events way and takes tremendous pride in her work. Katie's creativity, attention to detail, and organization paired with her experience in marketing, planning, design, decorating, and food service will make her an invaluable resource on your wedding day. As a DYI (Do-It-Yourself) bride, Katie understands the importance of a budget-conscious approach while ensuring a stress-free day. Likewise, she understands that some brides want to handle most of the planning on their own. Thus, she is eager to help those brides to see their visions carried out on "The Day."
